Mr. Corbett is Managing Partner at Accurent. Founded in 2009, Accurent is a global advisory, real estate and venture capital firm headquartered in New York City. Accurent provides advisory services to leading private equity and venture-backed businesses, small to mid-cap publicly listed companies, family offices and ultra high-net-worth individuals.
Mr. Corbett is also Managing Partner at Accurent Ventures. Founded in 2009, Accurent Ventures is a venture capital-focused family office based in New York City. Accurent Ventures invests in early stage venture capital and lower middle market private equity.
Prior to founding Accurent, Mr. Corbett worked with Aldwych Capital where he advised and arranged debt and equity capital for private and public companies ranging in size from $10mm to $250mm+. His work spans North America, Europe, Africa and Asia in industries including power, oil & gas, real estate, financial services, food & beverage, and technology.
Prior to joining Aldwych, Mr. Corbett was CFO, and former vice president at Northern Gulf Partners, a Middle East focused private equity firm. He previously held positions as a policy analyst for the White House National Economic Council, Star Energy, a European oil & gas exploration firm, and with Boyd Steamship, a Central American shipping company.
Mr. Corbett holds an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in finance. He received his BA in psychology from Georgetown University. Mr. Corbett holds series 7 and 63 licenses.
